Over 500HP with Z33!!
This kit can achieve over 500hp if the engine is strengthened, and better torque and power than GTS7040 kit with a stock engine.
FEATURES
- The intercooler size is doubled compared to the existing kit. The capacity is doubled as well to withstand 500hp.
- The diameter of the suction pipe and intercooler pipe is enlarged by 35%.
- The airflow capacity of the 8555 supercharger is increased by 30% compared to the existing kit (GT7040).
- With adequate airflow, the torque & power increase are noticeable from the low to high speed range!!
Note that HKS's kit is much like a "tuner" kit, in that it does not include the EFI components (pump, injectors, or engine management) so you will need to supply these to complete the installation. Additionally, unless running something custom, the default kit does not include the SC pulley or belt, so we have added these as options above.
In October 1973, two talented and spirited young engineers had a vision; to design and build high performance engines and components that major OE manufacturers could not or would not produce. Led by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former engineer for Yamaha Motor Company, and his partner Mr.Kitagawa, the two secured a capital infusion from Sigma Automotive Co., Ltd. (hence the name “HKS ”), and began tuning gasoline powered engines in a dairy-farming shed at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. A year later, Mr. Hasegawa designed and built the first aftermarket turbocharger for passenger cars and has never looked back. HKS pioneered the Japanese aftermarket performance industry by delivering a host of exciting new products, including the first commercially available electronic turbo timer and boost controller. Other early products included piggy-back fuel computers and sophisticated fuel management tools. Clearly HKS was Driving Performance trends for Japanese vehicles.
